One promise
MyFreeTools is a set of free tools for everyday files: compressing, resizing, cropping, converting and watermarking images; compressing, merging, splitting, rotating, organizing and signing PDFs, turning pages into images and scanned pages into text (OCR); shrinking videos, making GIFs and extracting audio; trimming, joining, reversing and converting audio and changing its volume or speed; converters for fonts and an archive extractor (ZIP, RAR, 7z); QR codes and passwords; word counts and text comparison. Every tool does its work inside your browser, on your device. Nothing you drop here is uploaded, stored or seen by us.
That is not a setting; it is how the site is built. The tools are WebAssembly programs that your browser downloads once and runs locally. The indicator under each result shows the network traffic measured during processing, and the page explains how to verify it yourself in your browser's developer tools.
Why
Most online tools upload your file to a server, put a daily limit on free use, ask for an account for batches and plaster the page with pop-ups. We wanted the opposite: no upload, no account, no daily limit, no watermark, no waiting timer, and a result in your hands before you finish reading the page.
