Merge PDF files on your phone, without an app
Two scans from the bank, a signed page from your email and an annex from WhatsApp: the landlord wants one PDF. You do not need a scanner app that asks for your contacts. This page runs the merge tool in your phone's browser: choose the files, drag them into order and download one document.
Options
Each row has a Pages field: leave it empty for the whole file, or type the pages to take, like 1-3, 5.
The files never leave the phone. Merging copies the pages as they are, so nothing is re-rendered and the quality stays the same.
Tips
- Tap 'Choose files' and select several at once; on iPhone the Files app lets you pick from Downloads, iCloud and WhatsApp.
- Long-press a file in the list to drag it; or use the arrows if dragging is awkward.
- A PDF with a password asks for it first and is unlocked on the phone.
- Send the result straight from the Downloads folder, or use 'Continue with' to compress it before sharing.
Why it is private
Everything you type or drop here is handled by your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded. To verify, open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use the tool: you will see no request carrying your data.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it work on iPhone?
- Yes, in Safari (iOS 16 or newer). The result lands in Files > Downloads; share it from there.
- Is there a size or page limit?
- Files up to 200 MB each; a merged document of several hundred pages is fine. Big scans may take a few seconds on an older phone.
- Can I pick the page order inside each file?
- After merging, open the result in Organize PDF to reorder, rotate or remove individual pages.
