Convert PDF to PNG at 300 DPI

Screens need 72–150 DPI; print and image editing need more. This preset renders each page as a PNG at 300 DPI, which gives an A4 page of about 2480×3508 pixels with crisp text and no JPEG artefacts. Use it for posters made from PDF pages, for inserting a page into a document, or for OCR on a scan.

Options

Rendering uses PDF.js in your browser. The PDF is never uploaded; large documents simply take a bit longer, one page at a time.

Tips

  • Pick only the pages you need in the Pages field; a 100-page PDF at 300 DPI is a lot of pixels.
  • For photos inside the PDF, JPEG at 300 DPI is much smaller with the same look.
  • On a phone, memory limits may stop very large pages; 150 DPI is a safe fallback.

Why it is private

Everything you type or drop here is handled by your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded. To verify, open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use the tool: you will see no request carrying your data.

Frequently asked questions

Is 300 DPI enough for professional printing?
Yes for standard print. For large-format or fine art, set the DPI field to 600 manually.
Do the PNGs have transparency?
No; pages are rendered on a white background, as a printer would.
