Photos to a single PDF on your phone
Updated October 29, 2026
Expense receipts, a signed form, the pages of a notebook: the phone takes the photos, the accountant wants one PDF. You can make that PDF in the browser, from the phone, without installing a scanner app that asks for your contacts.
The images to PDF tool takes the photos in order and gives one file with one page per image. The reverse (PDF to JPG) is on the site too.
Take usable photos
Flat page, good light, phone parallel to the page. Crop each photo to the page edges with the crop tool if the background shows; it halves the size and looks like a scan. For receipts, grayscale is fine and smaller.
Build the PDF
Open images to PDF, choose the photos (select several in the picker), check the order and drag to reorder if needed. Pick the page size: A4 with the image fitted, or "same as the image" for an exact copy. Download, then share from the phone's downloads.
Keep it light
Ten phone photos make a 40 MB PDF. Run the result through compress PDF at "email" quality before sending; receipts come out at 100 to 200 KB per page and are still readable.
Tips
- Rename the photos 01, 02, 03 or just select them in order.
- A photo of a receipt is fine in black and white; that halves the size.
- The photos never leave the phone: the PDF is built in the browser.
Questions
- Does it work on iPhone?
- Yes, in Safari. HEIC photos are converted automatically.
- Can I add pages later?
- Make a second PDF and merge the two with the merge tool, or use organize to reorder afterwards.
- How do I get the pages back as images?
- PDF to JPG renders each page at the resolution you choose.
