Convert SVG to PNG
SVG is a vector format: it describes shapes, so it scales without loss but is not accepted everywhere (e-mail signatures, many CMS uploads, app stores, Office). PNG is the universal lossless raster format and keeps the transparency of your logo. This preset draws the SVG with the browser's own renderer, which handles gradients, text, masks and CSS inside the file, and writes a PNG at the size you set under Max size, 2048 pixels on the longest side by default.
Options
The drawing is done on your device. The SVG is never uploaded, and fonts or images referenced inside it are not fetched from anywhere; embed them in the SVG if the result lacks them.
Tips
- Set Max size to the pixels you actually need: 512 for an app icon, 1200 for a social image, 4096 for print. Larger is sharper but heavier.
- Transparency is kept. If you need a background, convert to JPG instead and the transparent areas become white.
- An SVG without width and height attributes is drawn from its viewBox; add them if the output size surprises you.
Why it is private
Everything you type or drop here is handled by your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded. To verify, open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use the tool: you will see no request carrying your data.
Frequently asked questions
- Why does my SVG come out at an unexpected size?
- The SVG's own width/height or viewBox sets the aspect ratio; Max size sets the longest side in pixels. With no size information at all, the browser's default of 300×150 is used.
- Are external fonts and images rendered?
- Only what is inside the file. External references are not fetched, so nothing leaves your device; embed fonts and images in the SVG if you need them in the PNG.
