Split a PDF every 2 pages
Scanned forms, invoices and certificates often come as one long PDF where every document takes two pages: a front and a back, or a page and its annex. This preset cuts the file every two pages, so page 1–2 becomes one PDF, 3–4 the next, and so on, each named after the pages it holds. Change the number to 3, 5 or 10 and the same happens with longer documents; a final part keeps whatever pages are left.
Options
The split runs locally in your browser with pdf-lib: the original is never uploaded or modified, and each part keeps the document's title and author.
Tips
- A 300-page scan with 150 two-page forms gives 150 files in one ZIP; the page strip under the options shows what you are about to cut.
- If the documents are of unequal length, use "Extract pages" with one range per document, with "One PDF per range" ticked.
- To split a file into N equal parts instead, pick "Into N equal parts".
Why it is private
Everything you type or drop here is handled by your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded. To verify, open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use the tool: you will see no request carrying your data.

- What if the page count is odd?
