Split PDF into separate pages

When each page of a document has to go to a different person, folder or system, you need one PDF per page. This preset does exactly that: drop a PDF and get a ZIP with one file per page, named after the original (report-01.pdf, report-02.pdf and so on) and numbered with leading zeros so they sort correctly.

Options

Splitting runs in your browser with pdf-lib; the document is never uploaded, and there is no limit on the number of pages beyond your device's memory.

Tips

  • Need only some pages? Switch to Extract pages and type a range such as 1-3, 7.
  • Several PDFs at once: drop up to 20; each produces its own ZIP.
  • Scanned documents with one logical page per sheet are a perfect fit; double-page scans need cropping first.

Why it is private

Everything you type or drop here is handled by your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded. To verify, open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use the tool: you will see no request carrying your data.
