Extract pages from PDF
Send only the pages that matter: a contract's signature page, chapter two of a manual, pages 4 to 9 of a report. This preset opens the tool in Extract mode. Type the pages you want, with commas and dashes, and you get a new PDF containing just those pages in the order of the original.
Options
The extraction happens locally in your browser; the original file stays on your device and is never modified.
Tips
- Ranges accept open ends: 5- means from page 5 to the end, -3 means the first three pages.
- To reorder pages, extract them in separate runs and combine the results with Merge PDF.
- Page numbers are physical positions in the file, which may differ from the numbers printed on the pages.
Why it is private
Everything you type or drop here is handled by your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded. To verify, open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use the tool: you will see no request carrying your data.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I extract the same page twice?
- No; each page appears once, in its original order. Use Merge PDF to duplicate a page.
- Does the extracted PDF keep the quality?
- Yes. Pages are copied as they are, without re-rendering or recompression.
